Being brought up in a middle class rural background family and having seen my mother & aunty designing & making traditional bed-sheets since young age and being a art student my artist mind sees similarity between drawings and Bedsheets. Created some Bedsheets on my own and being appreciated felt confident. Later on being married in a Business family and supported by in-laws, started as a hobby in a small room having a zeal to do something. Later on also completed 3 years Diploma in textile desgning to add on technical support.

The idea behind Albeli is to work hand in hand with craft community, women and artisans to design create ethnic collection that reflects the rich culture & heritage of India. In conjuction with taking our social responsibility seriously and supporting local women & giving them a helping hand with the aim of empowering them, appreciate & monetize their skills, preserving tradition and protecting environment (with our Zero Waste policy). A venture started in small room presently with an experience of 20 years and team of around 40 women artisans is converted in a small scale industry
